this is my grandmother. she turned 90 years old in 2014 and is still going strong in the new year. not only has she given me priceless memories during my childhood through adult life, she’s a huge part of my own kids lives. my boys call her GG, and that’s what we all call her now. she’s taught her decedents so many important lessons to live by, including: cherishing and looking after your family, saving 10% and giving away 10% of what you earn, living responsibly in every regard, and laughing so hard can’t keep your eyes open. because no matter what tragedy or obstacle crosses your path, life is still pretty darn good.
