this was my first time photographing a wedding at the beautiful rockwood manor in potomac, maryland. it was an unseasonably warm day in march, and the cherry blossoms on the property were in their full pink glory – pure magic! the gorgeous couple, jessica and lindsey, were as laid back as brides come. the experience of documenting and witnessing this event was touching and inspiring beyond words can describe, but i’ll give it a shot. it was my first same sex wedding, and the outpouring of love on this day was was absolutely incredible! the ceremony was beautiful and drowned with happy tears. the speeches were captivating; no clichés or boring, generic sentiments to make my mind wander once. just raw, genuine, real love. and the after-party-crazy-dancing was pretty sweet too. i may or may not have shaken my booty a little with my second shooter. lindsey and jessica’s wedding day embodied what a union should be about – partnership, giving, support and love. are you feeling as warm and fuzzy as i am now? 🙂
and in case you missed it, i made a cute little montage of these photographs set to music HERE.
