Our sweet baby girl is ONE! This past year with Violette has been SO much fun and we have all enjoyed every second with our adorable princess. She has the most loving and doting older brothers who are simply obsessed with her. They loved helping and watching her cake smash go down! We planned this violet-themed cake smash in honor of her name. The paint we used for her high chair is even called “Sassy Violet” by Valspar; how appropriate! I made the tutu and flower garland for the high chair as well as the cake stand. All supplies via Michael’s. V wasn’t so sure about eating her cake despite it being completely made from scratch, but she did have fun smearing the purple icing on herself and squishing it in between her chubby fingers. When she got sick of being stuck in her throne, we took the princess out and she gave us lots of funny faces and sweet smiles in typical Violette fashion. The last photo in this post pretty much sums up her irresistible little personality. Happy first birthday, baby Violette! We love you more than you can imagine!!
