this summer was a blast! we went on so many adventures, spent time with family, and tried lots of new things. here are some of the highlights of the second half of our 2014 summer of fun…
we took a road trip to the cedar lakes in new jersey to visit my brother’s family. roadtripping has become such a pleasure now that we have a comfy, spacious mini van! i only brought my simple 5 year old canon rebel, 50mm and kit lens with me, yet still managed to document our journey pretty nicely.

my boys don’t have any living grandfathers, so my beautiful sister in law shares her wonderful dad with us. he’s amazing with the kids and such a pleasure to be around!
hello, montgomery county fair grounds! we loved visiting all of the various farm animals and playing games. but the highlight of our fair experience was definitely the loud, dirty, and magnificent monster trucks!
just so happened the boys had their arms signed by the guy who won all the prizes in the show that night! good intuition? 
the day after the fair, my sweet 5 year old landon had his very first flying lesson! this was such a special and momentous event in his life, since my dad flew an airplane and my brother and i took flying lessons since we were teenagers at this very airport. a huge thank you to the beautiful and generous rockstar pilot, batelle, for taking us up!
