If I had only two words to describe this super sweet family session that I photographed at the Potomac River a couple of weeks ago, it would be amazing energy. I totally get this mama of boys. We kind of have our own club, us boy mommies. This life isn’t for the faint of heart; it’s fast-moving, hilariously loud, adorably dirty and ridiculously loving. It’s uniquely perfect in that way. I’ve never photographed so many dandelion wishes in one session, but big bro was REALLY into it, so of course we let him indulge and even made a few family wishes. There were so many awesome moments captured that I just had to make a big long blog post to share the sweetness. Grass stains, pebbles in shoes, love squeezes, a little drool and heart-melting mommy cuddles are as real as it gets, and here for your viewing pleasure.
