this summer i had the opportunity to do commercial shoot photographing a family for a national publication. the style of these images is not my usual shooting technique, but it was a fun challenge using a diffused flash outdoors. this family’s story is highly emotional, as they had a brush with tragedy, yet the ending is a happy one. (read their story HERE.) this organization, started by this sweet little boy’s mother, and my image were featured in Women’s Day magazine in july. it was a wonderful experience being part of this project, and my boyfriend, rob, and i both learned a few basic but essential CPR tips. laura even hosts CPR parties, which is a brilliant idea perfect for a mom’s night in!
