last week was a milestone birthday for me. i turned 30, which i didn’t really think much about until the week leading up to it, thanks to my lovely family. my husband reminded me daily to “enjoy” the last 5 days, 4, days, etc. in my 20’s. so nice! LOL. my mom’s birthday is the day after mine, so her “i can’t believe my baby is turning 30” was magnified by her own identifying number changing at basically the same time. four days later i still don’t feel older than 29. 😉 and since we’re in the process of building a photography studio/addition onto our house, i initially didn’t want any presents. but i had a sudden change of heart and bought a super comfy bed i’ve been dreaming about for years. it was actually a really amazing deal at joss & main, which if you don’t know about — is run by the DEVIL. haha. since i really haven’t had any great sleep in the last, um, 3.67 years, i thought i’d deserve a nice place to lay my head, even if not for very long. my mom got me the gorgeous bedding from west elm. the inevitable wrinkles in my duvet blend with the ‘tufted-look.’ genius, and no coincidence. i just got my premier issue of click, a magazine for photographers, momtographers and any ‘tog with the desire to learn and grow. can’t wait to dive into it. the mag, and my new comfy cozy bed.
